Arizona Broadway Theatre awards raffle giveaways during the 400-seat dinner theatre’s volunteer appreciation luncheon on April 16, 2008. Sun City resident, Bonnie Kravitz, won an autographed poster signed by the cast of Pump Boys and Dinettes, which ran from July 27 to Sept. 9, 2007.

Fiddler
Betty Hoisington, a Sun City resident, signed up as an Arizona Broadway Theatre volunteer escort after seeing Damn Yankees, up at bat from March 9 to April 23, 2006. She also pitches in on the Diamond Club team during spring training at the Peoria Sports Complex. At ABT’s volunteer appreciation luncheon held on April 16, 2008, she won an autographed poster signed by the cast of Fiddler on the Roof, which ran Jan. 11 to March 2, 2008.

Grease
Arizona Broadway Theatre awards raffle giveaways during the 400-seat dinner theatre’s volunteer appreciation luncheon on April 16, 2008. Volunteer escort Rick Baldwin won a Grease T-Shirt and an autographed poster signed by the cast of Crazy for You, which ran from Nov. 9 to Dec. 30, 2007. “Crazy for You was my first show as a customer,” Baldwin recalled. “I loved Crazy for You and came to see it three times.”

As a show of gratitude, Arizona Broadway Theatre staged a volunteer appreciation luncheon attended by 140 on April 16, 2008. Volunteer escorts Marie Gallo (from left), Kathleen Shanahan, Rose Fleming and Monta Ewing sport their “Volunteers Are Stars in Our Eyes!” T-shirts, which they received at last year’s luncheon. Anything Goes
Arizona Broadway Theatre’s director of guest services, Tracy Williams, congratulates Keith Campbell, a 15-year resident of Arrowhead Ranch in Glendale, for receiving the first raffle giveaway awarded during the 400-seat dinner theatre’s volunteer appreciation luncheon on April 16, 2008. A longtime Tuesday-evening escort, Campbell was among the original 18 volunteers to usher in guests for ABT’s 2005-2006 Premiere Season. Most appropriately, he won an autographed poster signed by the cast of Anything Goes, which due to ABT’s construction delays debuted in a temporary tent pavilion erected at the Peoria Sports Complex on Nov. 4, 2005.
