One of the world's best-known and best-loved musicals, Cats has pounced into the hearts of audiences all over the world. It's an all-singing, all-dancing spectacle based on T. S. Eliot's Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber that has been translated into over 20 languages. With mega-hits like "Memory," Cats won seven Tony awards in 1983, including Best Musical, and went on to become one of the longest-running shows in Broadway history.
